Fresh food, especially Japanese.

Music that seduces me. Especially acoustic guitar and piano, but also love electric guitar when played the way I like it. Traditional instruments can also be wonderful.

Dress Style:

Dull, drab, monotonous, uncool, understated, stealthy, unpretentious but always comfortable. Physical appearance is ordinary, unexceptional, but someone may like it.

Humor:

How do you describe a sense of humor?

I enjoy intelligent humour, such as that of Australian musician Tim Minchin and the British master satirists Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse. Also like Bill Maher's Real Time on HBO.

Hobbies & Interests:

Doing fun or interesting stuff. Cycling or walking in interesting and beautiful places. Travel, especially by bicycle. Learning about this strange and wonderful world. Reading, writing, thinking and stimulating conversation, watching well made movies.

Travelled:

Been to a few countries in East and South East Asia. Recently spent a few weeks cycling in Nepal. Cycle touring has many advantages over other modes of travel. It's fast enough to take you a reasonable distance in a day, yet slow enough to allow you to feel the atmosphere of the place you are traveling through, to actually meet and interact with ordinary local people. You are truly there! It also makes you a stronger person with increased perspective about what is truly important in human life.

Cultural Adaption:

Cultural difference is a tremendous bonus and adds spice to a relationship. Language difference makes you conscious of the central importance of communication.. The differences encourage effort and patience in a relationship. I love the difference.

Romance:

Together with my partner anywhere we can enjoy being together. Romance is a condition of the heart and mind, every day, not only on weekends.

Friendly and gentle, open minded and curious about people, human cultures and lots of things.
